Weddings
Building memories
Bagpipes will be something talked as part of your special day. The San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California have many of the West Coast's most beautiful venues, marvelous for inclusion of the pipes as part of a couple's wedding day.
From beaches, vineyards, parks and lush redwood groves to churches, reception halls, restaurants and even yacht clubs, the beautiful and stirring sound of bagpipes brings the perfect touch to help make one of the most memorable days of a couple’s life.
In order to best achieve your vision for the ceremony, Piper John B is happy to offer his experiences and suggestions. You’ll have enough on your mind on the big day and John B wants the music to be the one thing you won’t have to worry about.
Each wedding is special
Wedding Ceremony might include:
At the entry of the flower girl and / or ring bearer
With the entry of the groomsmen
For the bride’s processional
During the Unity Candle lighting
Perform during the sharing of communion
A hymn of remembrance for those who could not be there
March bride and groom out of the ceremony
Playing outside the church as guests leave
at the reception
Bagpipes can also be performed at the reception if you wish – piping the bride & groom and bridal party into the reception hall is a great way for them to make their grand entrance. Some suggestions I can make for the reception are:
Welcoming guests as they arrive
March the wedding party into the reception
Lead the wedding party and guests from wedding to reception
Play a waltz for the first dance
Perform various tunes during the reception
But to see her was to love her, love but her, and lover her forever. - Robert Burns
