Highland bagpipe music has just that certain feel that has moved the hearts of people for centuries, whether in stately march, air, hornpipe, strathspey, gig, reel or piobaireachd. John B maintains a commitment to this timeless music, serving the communities of Northern California from Big Sur and Carmel, to Napa; from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park.

Commitment to your event
Committed to creating the right atmosphere and ensuring that the perfect mood is delivered on the day, personal presentation is as important as great playing. John B plays David Naill pipes and wears a kilt of Roxburgh Red or Hunting Stewart tartan with waistcoat and Argyll jacket, or full military dress. Playing with the Silicon Valley Pipe Band and the San Jose Police Emerald Society Pipe Band, and through John’s contacts, a performance can be expanded to include pipes with drums, or even a full pipe band with highland dancers making your day musically incredible.
From beaches, giant redwood groves and vineyards, to churches, reception halls, and golf or yacht clubs, John B has been honored to perform for weddings, dignitaries, receptions, parties and memorial services. The music includes many traditional Scottish favorites, old and new, including Highland Cathedral in accompaniment of pipe organ.
